Whos the Sup's New Majordomo ?

Loose lips at City hall are saying Schools Superintendent James Williams has hired a new Executive Assistant. For whatever reason though, (maybe since the district was recently patting itself on the back for all the money they saved screwing teachers out of their usual full day salary by cutting the Special education work day into 2 sessions for teachers and one for kids) nobody seems to want to discuss/admit to this hiring. And with Stefan (you spell it) formerly of local news notoriety hustling after Williams doing press releases and spin doctoring it might seem that another hand on the tiller is a little superfluous dare I say wasteful of Edu-dollars ? It's also been something of a minor mystery why this Board employs 4 people under the title Community Superintendent. The Lead Sup earns $129,000 and the other 3 earn $116,500. What exactly their role is in anything seems rather vague. Seems if they are involved in community matters one of them should have been a major player in the antics at McKinley High School last year. Whichever one was assigned to McKinley, I never heard any mention of their actions or involvement. My apple calc tells me that's $478,500. Yes, math fans almost half a million dollars spread out over 4 people whose role nobody seems to even grasp. And when it's time to negotiate the teacher's contract as it has been for how many years now the first thing they do is accuse teachers of being greedy and indifferent to the fate of colleagues they threaten to lay off. Can't wait to find out who got this plum gig. I am sure it will be no surprise to anyone and a huge groan to many.
