Sarah Palin's Hand in the Cookie Jar Again !

Sarah Palin has pulled the plug on her governorship of Alaska. This is a clever piece of strategery enabling her to focus better on her 2012 run for the White House right ? That or she knows she's facing a federal indictment having to do with her house being built of essentially the same materials as went into the public skating rink in Wasilla. Remember, the one she built and put the town in debt to the tune of about 25 million ? Well it looks like the old chiseler was busy cheesing off the tax payers again. If she can't go to Nieman Marcus looks like girlfriend knows her way around Home Depot too as long as the tab's on somebody else. So along with her Wasill-billies hit the Dee-part-mint store with the rich guy's credit card, her dinging Alaskans for the per diem to stay in her own home instead of the mansion and her assorted free plane tickets and hotel rooms for family members who had no business being on most of the trips they took, Sarah Palin now can add the refrain "Move that bus !" to her repertoire of just folksisms. Problem is this time I think it may be the black maria hauling the princess's freeloading carcass off to jail. Shove over Governor Sanford, that scrap heap of former Republican darlings of 2012 is getting higher and deeper as the weeks pass. Oh yeah, Mark, Governor Palin RESIGNED -- look into that will you.

I've got the black wreath on my door since Baby Joe resigned his 70k job with the most useless state government in the country. He at least has the sense to jump off the sinking ship.
Did you catch Palin's speech last night? She did her usual rambling then announced she had stated her reasons for leaving. Huh? was our response. Don't let the door hit you, ciao, arriverdeici, but you didn't explain a thing. I can't imagine how Alaskans can listen to her- it's probably a good thing their state government only meets for 90 days.
Read the article about her in Vanity Fair if you haven't already- it's great.

Caught VF online last night. She is the perennial cheerleader bitchy thing looking to rally her troops at the girls' lav. I loved the way she was backhanded by Steve Schmidt and essentially told to shut up about stuff that was true and quit engaging people on it. She clearly lacks the sense to shut up when she's in a losing battle. It's easy to see what kind of leadership she would not bring to a job like the White House

If ONLY they could nab her and make it stick....it's sure been hush-hush, hasn't it or am I not paying attention???

Ima I saw the post on mudflats he got it from bruceblog and apparently the federal indictment is coming her way soon and she didn't want the extra sideshow of pretending to govern in the middle of it.

Justice for Claire has been served to our satisfaction. They did send their lawyers and the cops after me one more time but that's how they do it in heaven I guess.
