Rush Limbaugh, Fred Richardson and Ko Simpson

Rush Limbaugh says he can't stand people in politics who think that they are going to get everything they want for nothing. He actually made this point yesterday when Jim Rome's show started to bore me and I decided to check in and see what the other side was up to in this bleak, post-W. landscape. Limbaugh was fighting off a major Oxy-Jones in celebration of Bill Richardson's recent screw up. It appears Rush's sources have told him that Richardson reached out to someone asking to be comped for his troubles at the DNC in Denver. Unless Wild Bill was geting loose in a casino somewhere with someone else's card I am failing to muster the Limbaughean levels of outrage for Richardson's behavior. Strikes me as a mildly cynical to wholly realistic expectation of this type of character, it's what most of them do. Ko Simpson for Christ's sake was arrested in a South Carolina bar parking lot this last weekend screaming I'm Ko Simpson of the Buffalo Bills, I am worth millions !!! Well, Ko more like $425 K but you're right about being paid in idiotic excess of your measurable contribution to society if that was your point. Celebrity is a baaaad drug that may cause as much or more damage than the ones on 5th grade D.A.R.E. posters. So Rush is outraged with this mooching politician routine yet defends people like freeloading Alsakan Governatrix Nieman Palin and her hubby Todd Fifth Avenue who went crazy like white trash teens who found some rich guy's Am Ex card in a parking lot. Rush has no problems with Dick Cheney's buddies at Halliburton, KBR and so on being handed billions in no bid contracts here and in Iraq then underperforming in all of their contracted responsibilities to the point in several cases of criminal negligence that actually cost Americans their lives. American marines being electrocuted and poisoned with bad water as a result of Cheney friendly companies' negligence doesn't bother this great American Rush Limbaugh as much as Bill Richardson making himself look pathetic and lame by trying to chisel some free eats and digs at the DNC. I think Bill can explain himself, apologize if that's what he did and move ahead. Can Halliburton, KBR and our other great non-union contractors at Blackwater security do the same ? By the way is anyone else interested in the trend of places like Erie PA who dropped Limbaugh's show because it brings in no palpable revenue yet costs more than any other show because his people are trying to find ways to pay him the outrageous sum they've agreed upon ?Bill O'Reilly can probably console him, he knows how tough radio can be.
